Stormy weather replaced by cold and blustery conditions

The storms are departing after some vigorous storms raced across the region.

Observers confirmed a tornado near Lower Van Road and FM 2025 in San Jacinto County. Debris could pose a hazard to individuals without shelter. Mobile homes may sustain damage or destruction. Roofs, windows, and vehicles are likely to be damaged. Trees are also likely to be affected. This tornado is expected to reach Livingston, Goodrich, Lake Livingston State Park, and West Livingston around 2:25 p.m.
Temperatures will drop on Tuesday following the storms, continuing until Wednesday morning. There is another chance of rain on Friday. The front will lower morning temperatures to the lower and mid-30s this weekend. Another front is expected to arrive on Monday, Martin Luther King Day, bringing chilly mornings next week.
